About the UniSey Alumni Association

The UniSey Alumni Association is the official network recognised by the University of Seychelles for UniSey graduates, proudly connecting past, present, and future members of our university family. Established on 18th July 2025 and launched at the UniSey Fundraising Gala on 26th July 2025, we are the first officially registered alumni body in UniSey’s history. Our purpose is to foster lifelong relationships, celebrate achievements, and create opportunities for alumni to give back to the University and the wider community. Guided by our slogan, “Rooted in Legacy, Rising Together,” we honour our shared past while building towards a brighter, collective future.

We proudly acknowledge and thank the University of Seychelles for initiating the early meetings and discussions with its graduates that led to the formal establishment of the Association. Their support and vision were key in getting the Alumni Association up and running, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration with the University of Seychelles, with the hope of their ongoing support in the years ahead.

Our Mission
To unite alumni of the University of Seychelles through meaningful engagement, networking, and sharing initiatives; to celebrate their achievements and highlight their impact locally and globally; to create opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and philanthropy; and to encourage lifelong learning and professional growth.

Our Aim
We aim to bring alumni together through projects and programmes that inspire connection, pride, and contribution. Our planned initiatives include:

• Networking & Events – reunions, professional mixers, and alumni galas.

• Mentorship & Career Support – job boards, internships, and guidance for students and graduates.

• Recognition & Awards – celebrating alumni successes through spotlights and honours.

• Fundraising & Giving Back – supporting scholarships, student projects, and university initiatives.

• Professional & Personal Development – workshops, webinars, and lifelong learning opportunities.

• Affinity Networks – connecting alumni with shared professional or personal interests.
