Shannon Heather Francoise is the Public Relations Officer of the UniSey Alumni Association and a graduate of the University of Seychelles, where she earned a Diploma in Journalism in 2024. She is currently furthering her studies by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning. Her academic and career journey illustrates both resilience and determination, qualities that have shaped her into the professional she is today.

Shannon began her career in 2005 as a supply teacher, a role that required adaptability, patience, and strong interpersonal skills. Over the course of 18 years, she steadily advanced in her career, taking on new challenges and responsibilities that eventually led her into the field of communications. Today, she serves as Public Relations Officer at the Seychelles Licensing Authority, where she manages outreach, communication, and stakeholder engagement. Known for being outgoing and approachable, Shannon thrives in roles that require relationship building and effective communication, making her well-suited for both her professional position and her responsibilities within the Alumni Association.

As Public Relations personnel on the Executive Committee, Shannon plays a key role in crafting messages, managing alumni outreach, and ensuring the Association’s voice is heard across different platforms. She brings to the team not only her communications expertise but also her enthusiasm and ability to connect with people.
