The UniSey Alumni Association is excited to announce the formation of new Sub-Committees, designed to create more opportunities for our graduates to engage, collaborate, and make an impact within the alumni community and across Seychelles.
We are now calling for volunteers to join these Sub-Committees, and we’d love to hear from you!

You can choose to join one or more sub-committees, and if you feel ready to lead, please indicate if you’d also like to be considered for a Chair position.
Why Join a Sub-Committee?
These Sub-Committees are central to strengthening alumni engagement and empowering graduates to take active roles in community and university-related initiatives.
Each group will bring together passionate UniSey graduates to drive specific projects, collaborate on meaningful initiatives, and represent alumni voices under the guidance of the Alumni Executive Committee.
Our Five New Sub-Committees
1. Sustainability Initiatives (Culture & Environmental Conservation)
Focus: Promoting cultural and environmental conservation.
Activities include tree planting, e-waste collection drives, low-waste campaigns, and collaboration with community partners to champion sustainable living.
2. Student Voices and Advocacy
Focus: Strengthening the connection between alumni and current students.
This group will maintain a student-alumni dialogue, run surveys and forums, and advocate for student needs while identifying ways alumni can provide support and mentorship.
3. Wellness and Well-Being
Focus: Promoting mental health and community well-being.
Members will create initiatives such as peer-support networks, short sessions on stress management, and awareness campaigns that encourage a culture of care within our alumni community.
4. Mentorship and Careers
Focus: Bridging alumni expertise with student and graduate career development.
This team will deliver mentorship programmes, career talks, CV/LinkedIn clinics, and short job-shadowing opportunities, helping to prepare UniSey graduates for the next stage of their professional journey.
5. Events and Communication
Focus: Bringing our community together and enhancing visibility.
The group will coordinate networking events, workshops, reunions, and manage alumni communications across social media, newsletters, and digital channels to keep everyone connected and informed.

- Whether you would also like to be considered for the role of Chair.
The Executive Committee will review all expressions of interest and confirm the selected members. Once confirmed, the first sub-committee meetings will be scheduled to kick-start activities.
By joining a sub-committee, you’ll be helping to shape the future of the UniSey Alumni Association, building connections, developing initiatives, and driving change that benefits both alumni and the wider UniSey community.
