Samia Brioche is a Strategic Planning Officer at the Tourism Department and the Deputy Secretary of the UniSey Alumni Association. A 2024 graduate of the University of Seychelles with a degree in Financial Services, her UniSey journey was defined by both academic growth and a powerful personal transformation. Entering university shy and reserved, she discovered her voice through leadership and service, eventually serving as Vice President of the Student Council from 2022 to 2023. In that role she led initiatives, supported campus development, and mentored peers, laying the foundation for her ongoing commitment to community and empowerment.

Professionally, Samia began her career in account management before moving into strategic planning, where she now contributes to shaping policies that are central to the future of Seychelles’ tourism industry. Her background in finance, combined with her ability to think creatively, allows her to approach strategy with both precision and vision. She thrives on bringing structure and purpose to her work while keeping people and culture at the heart of every plan.

Faith plays a guiding role in her life, giving her strength, clarity, and resilience. Known for her kindness and empathy, she is someone who uplifts others and is always ready to make a difference. In the Alumni Association, she supports documentation and communication, ensures coordination across the Executive Committee, and steps in for the Secretary when needed. Her goals are to mentor young graduates, create opportunities for alumni to connect, and build a supportive network that gives back to UniSey and Seychelles. For her, being part of the Alumni Association is about creating a family of graduates who inspire, celebrate, and uplift one another.
