Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Who can join the UniSey Alumni Association?
All graduates of the University of Seychelles are automatically eligible to be part of the Alumni Association.
Do I need to register if I’m already a UniSey graduate?
Yes. While all UniSey graduates are eligible by default, you need to activate your membership by registering at: uniseyalumni.org/register.
This ensures you are included in our alumni database and can begin receiving communications, invitations, and benefits.
Why is it important to activate my membership?
The UniSey Alumni Association is more than just a network, it is an officially registered body created to represent, unite, and celebrate all UniSey graduates. By law, under the Seychelles Associations Act (2022), the Association must hold Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and reach a quorum for important decisions, including electing leaders, passing resolutions, and making amendments to our Rules of Association (the charter that governs us).
This is why it is important to have active, registered members. Your participation ensures that the Association remains credible, compliant, and effective.
But beyond governance, activating your membership also means:
Having a voice in shaping the direction and priorities of your Alumni Association.
Strengthening the UniSey community by contributing to mentorship, networking, and lifelong learning opportunities.
Showcasing alumni success and celebrating the achievements of UniSey graduates locally and globally.
Supporting UniSey’s growth through alumni-led initiatives, student support, and collaborative projects.
Building influence. A strong, active alumni body increases our ability to advocate for UniSey and contribute to national development.
Creating opportunities for professional and personal growth through events, partnerships, and exclusive alumni benefits.
By activating your membership, you are not only keeping in touch, you are helping shape a legacy, ensuring that the UniSey Alumni Association becomes a vibrant, sustainable, and respected community for years to come.
